We face many interesting as well as depressing(sad) events in our life. Only few of them get permanent place in our memory. One of the most exciting events in my student life is being first in the district level singing competition organized by our school. The chief guest was Milan Lama, a famous folk singer of our country.

During the programmer, I got chance to meet many friends of different schools and colleges. Some of them are still in touch with me. The participants sang all kinds of songs; pop, modern, folk, etc. But the audience seemed to like folk songs most. I sang a typical Nepali folk song of Gandaki belt. Finally, I was declared the first and was rewarded 1^st prize by the chief guest. He also invited me to take part in National Level Singing Competition. After that, I received many thanks from my friends and relatives. I had never imagined such happiness before.

Nowadays I usually get invited in singing competitions inside and outside my district.
